The Chicago Black Professionals Social Network is a community of individuals 21 and over in the Chicago area who share a connection to and appreciation for ethnic heritages rooted in the African diaspora. Founded in 2001, the group has been sustained and handed down from dedicated members over the decades, making it one of the longest-standing professional and social communities of its kind in Chicago.
Our members represent a wide range of educational, professional, and social backgrounds, but we share a common goal: to come together for social networking, professional growth, and community building.
We strive to create an environment that fosters authentic connections, meaningful conversations, and a healthy exchange of ideas, enriching the personal and professional lives of our members. Our group values professionalism, respect, and a drama-free atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.
Please note: our events are intended for adults 21 and older, unless otherwise specified in the event description or comments.

Get ready for an unforgettable, sultry summer night out! We are heading to the AirOtic Soirée on Saturday, August 8th for the 8:30 PM show at Experience 868 Events. If you haven't heard, this is an incredible, world-class circus-style cabaret and burlesque show featuring mind-blowing acrobatics, great music, and a high-energy vibe.
Before we head to the theater, we’re gathering for an upscale, New Orleans-style dinner to set the tone for the evening.Here is the game plan for the night:
Schedule:
5:00 PM – Dinner at Storyville Chicago (712 N. Clark St.)*
We’ll be meeting early to enjoy some incredible Creole cuisine, amazing craft cocktails, and catch up. I will be making the group reservation here, so please RSVP accurately so I can give the restaurant an exact headcount!- 7:15 PM – Head to the Venue
Storyville is just a quick 7–10 minute walk over to the theater.
7:30 PM – Doors Open @ Experience 868 Events (868 N. Franklin St.)*
Seating for the show is first-come, first-served within each ticket tier, so we want to be at the doors right when they open to secure a great block of seats together.

Because seating is first-come, first-served by section, the only way to guarantee our seats are right next to each other is to purchase them together on one order.- Option 1: Join the Group Buy (Recommended)
If you want to sit directly with the main group, I am happy to handle the bulk ticket purchase for us on Fever. The exact price is 115.50 (which includes the ticket cost + the booking fee).**
To secure your spot with the group,** please DM me to confirm and Zelle me the 115.50 by Wednesday, July 15th. Once that date hits, the order is locked in so we don't risk the section selling out!
Option 2: Buy on Your Own
If you miss the deadline or prefer to handle your own booking, you are still absolutely welcome to join us! Just make sure to buy a *VIP ticket **for the August 8th, 8:30 PM show. (Note: Make sure to use Fever to buy direct; third-party resale sites have these listed for much higher secondary prices). We’ll meet you at dinner or in line at 7:30 PM, and we will do our absolute best to get seated as close to each other as the venue allows.
