Join us IN-PERSON at Galvanize in Boulder - Angular URL Shortener (by Steve Witman) and a Recap of ng-conf 2022

Note: this month is still on Tuesday but beginning in October we are switching back to the 2nd Monday of each month.

1st TALK: In this talk, we will look at how to add a URL Shortener module to your Angular application. We'll begin with a quick discussion on typical features and benefits of using a URL shortener and why you might want build one into your application. Then we will look at some code in a couple working examples of a working Angular URL shortener (using Firebase for data persistence and auth).

2nd TALK: We will do a brief recap of some of the highlights from ng-conf held in Salt Lake City last week.

Galvanize at 1023 Walnut Street - Sanitas Room (Just inside the front door and to the left)

PARKING:

There is a parking lot on the South side of Canyon Drive between Broadway and 9th (and also one off of Arapahoe) that gives 1.5 hours free parking if you enter you license plate number in the kiosk. It is free after 7:00 so if you park there just after 5:30 AND remember to enter your LP into the kiosk, you can park for the rest of the evening.

Free street parking South of Arapahoe and West of 9th.

Parking meters downtown are free after 7pm.

Parking garage under The Julien, across the street from Galvanize, now charges a flat rate of $3 for the evening if you enter after 3pm.
