ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
Indico and Google have announced the launch of the 2022 Indico Founders Program Powered by Google for Startups. In its 3rd edition, and counting this year with two tracks, Tech and Ocean, the program will support and invest in startups at pre-seed stage level with the ambition to become global category winners. Between 6 to 10 startups will be selected and each will get an initial investment of at least €100K and up to €5M in follow on rounds.
Indico and Google joined forces in 2020 to launch an early-stage acceleration program to boost the Portuguese ecosystem. Since its launch 13 companies have joined the program.
The new Indico Founders Program includes extensive mentorship, training in overarching themes, founders stories, partner talks, ecosystem presentations, fundraising support and the chance to be incubated at Indico’s office for one year. In its third edition, the program is aimed at pre-seed companies with at least a working MVP (minimum viable product), some customers or ongoing pilots and huge market potential. Following on its original Tech path, this edition will also feature a new Blue path, aimed at blue economy startups based in Portugal.
Indico is looking for potentially unique global winners with amazing products, solving a big problem and a clear business model.
If you become a portfolio company by participating in our partners program, you will be in a fine company and will meet many of our top founders, who could be your mentors. Indico’s portfolio has raised over 1,2 billion USD since 2019 - the next member of the Indico family could be you!
