What we’re about
It is hard to make new friends in adulthood. It requires openness, quality-time spent together, and repeated exposure over a time period. This group uses a simple research-based exercise (developed by the University of California, Berkeley) to gradually open-up to someone you may have just met. Afterwards, we introduce this new person to others within the group. And then we do it again the next week. Over time we'll get to know each other pretty well. This group is for any adult looking to expand their social circle or just to have a pleasant afternoon.
Please note that this is not a singles group or a dating group. The focus is to create platonic friendships. Members who treat it like a dating activity will be asked not to return.
