Salvadoran Lunch at Seydi's Pupuseria & Grill

Details
Come join us for a very casual lunch of Salvadoran food. Order at the walk up counter, and the food is served on disposable plates with plastic utensils.
Seydi's Pupuseria & Grill is family owned and operated by Seydi Flores and her son Jose. Prior to opening their brick and mortar location in 2019 they ran a local Phoenix food truck. On a recent visit I tried their #9 combination plate (see menu & pics below) and my favorite items were the Chicharron con queso pupusa and the yuca fries. The other items were tasty and different. The Salvadoran slaw has a unique tangy flavor (no mayo) and the Chicken tamale & Salvadoran pie weren't like anything I have had before - good but not like a traditional tamale or anything you would call a pie.
Note: Everything is made to order and the service takes a while. If you are looking for a quick lunch this is not going to be it.
