It's been a while since our last event!! We're so happy to announce our next event finally :)

Our next cooking class will be typical Japanese home dishes on Saturday Sep. 23rd, starting at 3:30pm. The event will take place in Santa Clara, and the location will be sent to those who sign up.

We will make "Yellowtail teriyaki". Teriyaki is a cooking technique used in Japanese cuisine in which foods are broiled or grilled with a glaze of soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. We only see meat teriyaki around here, but in Japan yellowtail teriyaki is also very popular. Our Japanese style teriyaki is not that sweet (Teriyaki in the US is too sweet!) .

Another dish we will cook is "Nikujaga (meat and potatoes)" which is also an authentic Japanese dish of meat, potatoes and other vegetables stewed in sweetened soy sauce.

One more dish we will make is "Wakame gohan" which is seasoned rice with seaweed.

We also have a small vegetable side dish.

We hope to see some of the familiar faces and some new people too!

If we don't have at least two people confirmed to attend the event by the end of Wednesday on Sep. 20th, this event will be cancelled.

This session fee will be $48/person. Space is limited to 8 participants (a gentle reminder that there are no refunds after 3 days before the event date).

The class will last around 3 hours.
