About us
About the Group
Ever felt like you belong everywhere and nowhere at once? Whether you grew up across borders, live in a new country, have a mixed heritage, or are in an intercultural relationship, you’ve found your tribe. If you see the world as one community and thrive in diversity, this group is for you!
Welcome to 3rd Culture Group! We are a global nomadic community of Third Culture Kids (TCK), Cross Culture Kids (CCK), global citizens and unity advocates uniting to share our cross-cultural journeys.
We believe in the magic of “1 + 1 = 3” where combining cultures doesn’t dilute identity but creates a hybrid, uniquely beautiful culture we can call our own.
A Third Culture Kid (TCK) is an individual who, having spent a significant part of their developmental years outside their parents’ culture, builds relationships to all of the cultures while not having full ownership in any.
A Cross Culture Kid (CCK) is someone who lives in or meaningfully interacts with two or more cultural environments for a significant period during their developmental years. These experiences often create a unique “third culture”, not tied to geography, but to shared identity, empathy, and global perspective.
What We Do
We host several themed meetup series designed to celebrate both connection and curiosity:
- 3rd Culture Talks: Deep, vulnerable discussions where we explore identity, belonging, and the living in-between. Have you ever felt like you belong everywhere and nowhere at the same time? What does “home” mean to you now?
- Global Table: Monthly gatherings centered around food, stories, and traditions from around the world.
- Unity Arts and Music: Experiencing the creative mindsets of people across the globe, where East meets West.
- Unity Talks: Conversations and community nights that explore unity across faiths, cultures, values, and worldviews. We focus on shared humanity rather than division.

The Crossing: Hosting Human Intelligence in the Age of AI
https://www.amazon.com/Crossing-Hosting-Human-Intelligence-Age-ebook/dp/B0GS586YF1This discussion will focus on two powerful chapters from the book:
Chapter 4: The Constructed Self
"Not who you are. But who you appear to be."What happens when every culture you've lived in leaves its fingerprints on who you are? Is there still a "real" self underneath, or are we the sum of our cultural influences? What remains when labels such as nationality, language, profession, and social roles are stripped away. Who are we beneath the identities we present to the world?
Chapter 10: AI: A Civilization Stress Test
"The machine is not the origin. It is the mirror."As AI becomes increasingly capable of speaking every language, mirroring cultures, and saying all the right things, what still makes human connection unique? What separates humans from machines identity, culture, and belonging are becoming more complex than ever?
