Thessaloniki is famous for its gastronomy. Here you’ll eat to your heart’s content, your plates brimming with Mediterranean cuisine, seasoned with the added spice of Asia Minor.

Thessaloniki: a melting pot of cultures

Get to know the multitude of cultures that coexisted for centuries in Thessaloniki. During our visit to Thessaloniki, we will make a stop at these three significant landmarks:

  1. Arch of Galerius and Rotunda: the Palace, the Arch (Kamara) and the impressive Rotunda reminiscent of the Pantheon.
  2. The New promenade ( Nea Paralia)
  3. The former home of Kemal Ataturk, now a museum.

We will also visit UNESCO site- Meteora on a day trip.

There are few landscapes that excite the travelers as much as a visit to the enchanting Meteora. The gigantic rocks with the breathtaking volume and height, as they sharply arise in the edge of a big flatland, interrupt the smooth landscape like they were unreal, form part of an impressive geological phenomenon that you can’t miss the chance to observe closely. Moreover, the human intervention in this scenery is astonishing: Monasteries built in the highest point of the rocks, seem to hover between earth and sky, between human and divine element. In 1989, Meteora was added in the list of the World Heritage of UNESCO.
