Early Evening Beach Hike --Pompano Beach-- 6 + Miles

This will be a moderate to fast paced hike--2.5-3.25 miles per hour. Those who can keep up are welcome. When we leave Publix we will walk over the Intercoastal Bridge to the beach and head north. We will walk out on the beautiful Pompano Pier(hopefully there will be a nice sunset) and walk through a beautiful beachside neighborhood before getting to the very scenic park at the Hillsboro Inlet. We will enjoy the park for awhile- and have a snack and maybe watch the moon rise over the water.

We will walk at 6:40 PM. Please be on time! Come earlier if you need to use restroom.

At least 24oz. of water is required or you won't be able to hike. Bring a snack as well.

We may or may not do some actual walking on the beach,but if we do it won't be a long distance.

Directions:

When heading east on Atlantic Blvd. turn left at NE 26th Ave.(last light before bridge). Then make 1st left and another left into Publix parking garage. We will meet in front of store at tables.
