Established in 1864 Canemah Historic Pioneer Cemetery contains roughly 280 graves of early Oregon settlers. The cemetery has a unique feel. Its usually slightly overgrown and unkept, almost appearing as if it emerged out of ground, along with the surrounding trees.

The cemetery is surrounded by a barbed wire fence and is only open one day per month, the last being in September. This will be the last day to visit until next spring.

Afterwards we can hike the wooded trails, visit the graves of the influental Mcloughlin family who helped shape Oregon, then grab food down the street at the foodcarts at Corner 14

I did this goat yoga a couple months ago and it is more than just goats and yoga! This property is beautiful, the owner is warm and welcoming and this is more like goats and yoga and giggles! 🤗🐐

Join us us on a nature walk through the Vedanta Meditation retreat. This is a special, hidden gem that few people know about.

The retreat features multi denominational shrines for all the major religions plus some religions you may not have heard of. The shrines are all connected by forested paths or gravel roads so wear appropriate footwear.

Although I dont plan on meditating, Im not opposed to it and anyone can if they wish but the ground is often wet so bring something to sit on.

Carpooling is encouraged, otherwise meet in the gravel parking lot. The retreat lies beyond the orange gate. Take care not to park in front of the private driveways
