Let’s kick off the long weekend with something fun (not a club night 😉)

On the first day of the 3-day weekend, let’s head to Haneda Innovation City (HICity) — a unique spot right next to Haneda Airport — where a special event lets you experience the essence of “Japan,” all in one place!

The theme combines traditional Japanese aesthetics (“WA”) with futuristic cyberpunk vibes, featuring everything from regional ramen and sake to live performances, art, music, and even game zones.
It’s a perfect mix of culture, food, and photo-worthy moments — all easily accessible from the airport!

🌸 Event Highlights

(1) “WA × Cyberpunk” Light Installation
Walk through a magical world where traditional Japanese lanterns meet glowing neon lights. Experience two sides of Japan — nostalgic and futuristic — beautifully blending together.

(2) Food Festival: Taste of Japan
Savor a wide range of Japanese flavors, from ramen and gyoza to craft beers and premium sake tasting. Partnered with Gurunavi, this food fest features top ramen shops and regional specialties.

(3) Footbath DJ Stage
Enjoy City Pop, anime, and game soundtracks from live DJs while relaxing your feet in an open-air footbath overlooking the runway.

(4) Free Game Corner
Try your hand at iconic Japanese games like Gran Turismo, Street Fighter, Taiko no Tatsujin, and more. Some sessions even feature live commentary!

(5) Cyber Yatai (Futuristic Food Stalls)
Local companies team up to bring unique, neon-inspired Japanese street food stalls.

(6) Wonder Power Workshop
Join an interactive art and science workshop by “We+”, exploring creative micro-aquatic worlds.

(7) Traditional Japanese Performances
Be surprised by spontaneous samurai sword shows and other live traditional acts throughout the night!

羽田空港からすぐの「羽田イノベーションシティ」で、“日本”をまるごと体感できるイベントが開催されます。
伝統的な「和」と近未来的な「サイバーパンク」が融合した会場には、全国各地のご当地ラーメンや日本酒などが集結。さらに、日本ならではのゲームや音楽、伝統芸能など、多彩な魅力に触れることができます。
空港からアクセス抜群のこのイベントで、旅の合間に日本の魅力を一度に味わってみませんか？

[主なコンテンツ]
（1）大規模装飾「和×サイバーパンク」
街の中心を貫く「イノベーションコリドー」には伝統的な日本の灯り「提灯」を用いた幻想的な空間が出現。さらに歩みを進めるとネオンが光り、未来感とどこか懐かしさが入り混じるサイバーパンクな空間に変化します。思わず写真を撮りたくなるような、2種類の“日本らしさ”がこの街全体を彩ります。施設内芝生ゾーンもキッズエリアとしてライトアップ。

（2）日本を象徴する味覚が一堂に会する「食フェス」
国内外問わず愛される日本食。HICity初となる食フェスでは世界中で“日本食”として親しまれるグルメを集めます。“ぐるなび”と連携し、ラーメン人気店のメニューを日替わりで提供予定のほか、全国のご当地餃子も集結。日本酒の飲み比べや日本各地のクラフトビールなどのアルコール飲料を揃えつつ、煎茶などのノンアルコール飲料ももちろんご準備します。日本各地の食べ歩きをここHICityで。

（3）海外でも注目のヒットコンテンツを集めた「足湯DJ」
世界で注目が高まっているジャパニーズシティポップやアニメ、ゲーム音楽を中心に据えたDJイベントを滑走路が一望できる「足湯スカイデッキ」で開催。“日本ならでは”の音楽を足湯に入りながら楽しめます。また、老若男女どなたでもお楽しみいただける光と音が連動するコンテンツも展開します

（4）ゲーセンコーナー
HICityに無料のゲーセンコーナーが出現!？日本が誇るゲームコンテンツの中から「グランツーリスモ」を筐体で設置します。その他にもストリートファイター、太鼓の達人、中には「ぷよぷよ×テトリス」といった変わり種も。一部日程では実況中継がつき、白熱するゲームプレイを一層盛り上げます。

（5）サイバー屋台
区内企業と連携し、ハネダ夜街仕様のCyber Yatai(屋台)を新規製作！

（6）WONDER POWER WORKSHOP in OTA
We+のリサーチプロジェクト「WONDER POWER」をミニ水槽で体験するワークショップ。

（7）日本伝統芸能パフォーマンス
突然始まる殺陣や伝統芸能。日本文化との偶然の出会いをつくります。
