January 2013 Denver Microcontroller/FPGA/Embedded system meetup

The January meetup is tentatively scheduled for January 9th, rather than the 2nd.

Our speaker in January will be Bdale Garbee (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bdale_Garbee). Bdale has long been involved with Debian Linux and Free Software, Amateur Radio, and model rocketry. Bdale and Keith Packard cofounded Altus Metrum (http://www.altusmetrum.org/), offering open source products for high power rocketry. Bdale will describe how Altus Metrum picked the technology elements, tools, and licenses thay have, and how the products have evolved with input and collaboration from their customers.
