A Musical Fundraising Experience for Community Restoration
Music has always been more than entertainment—it has been a source of healing, hope, and unity.
Lead By Music is a community-centered fundraising event created to bring people together while raising support for neighborhoods that have historically been overlooked, beginning with communities on Chicago’s South and West Sides, including my hometown of Englewood.
Hosted by Dion Anthony Ruben and presented by 4GoodnessSake, this event celebrates the incredible talent, resilience, and culture that already exists within our communities while creating opportunities to invest back into them.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy live music, local artists, special guests, vendors, giveaways, and meaningful conversations—all centered around one mission:
Using music to inspire community restoration.
Every dollar raised helps us move closer to building sustainable community initiatives that support neighborhood revitalization. Funds raised will go toward projects such as:
• Community cleanups
• Youth music and arts programs
• Supporting local musicians, artists, and entrepreneurs
• Public art and beautification projects
• Community gathering spaces
• Neighborhood restoration efforts
• Future Lead By Music events in underserved communities
