What we're about

Couples and singles keen to meet for a meal and a chat and maybe an outing about every month at inexpensive venues.
A certain age dictates a new start in life with new friends and experiences.
Men are particularly welcome....
If you remember the 1950s and 60s days and rock n roll, your most welcome.

Frank and Anne started the group in 2014. They pay an annual fee to Meetup.com whose clever system then allows people to join and rsvp online to outings that Anne & Frank organise. The annual fee in 2022 is $150. small donations or sponsors always welcome.

Lunch with a view in Cobh's WatersEdge Hotel Saturday August 20th , 13.00

Jacob's Ladder Bar & Restaurant in the WatersEdge Hotel now has an enclosed conservatory area. Our tables are booked by the window. We should be weatherproofed and still have a view. The menu looks varied and competitively priced.

The WatersEdge hotel is literally down from the railway station for those using public transport. Cobh also offers many heritage sites and walks.

You will note that the RSVP time opens on August 3rd and closes at 10am on August 20th.
We hope that this will discourage no-shows. Also no-shows may, in future, be blocked from our membership. Last minute emergencies can always arise and that is totally understood.
