Camping Weekend State Forest State Park

Details
State Forest State Park is located ~80 miles west of Fort Collins on CO-14. It's on the other side of the Continental Divide.
If you want to see a mouse in person, your odds don't get much better than here. The night's sky will be dark-dark. There are plenty of hiking options nearby. There are a couple of nearby reservoirs to paddle on. I recommend you bring your camera.
We have campsites 319, 320, and 322 in the Bockman campground reserved. They are adjoining sites and across the road from the restrooms. Campsites are limited to 6 people and 2 vehicles.
We have the capacity for 18 campers (however, vehicle numbers may impact that). We'll sort out carpooling right after the Memorial Day weekend. At present we have more tent space than we have people to fill it.
These sites are "basic" meaning no electricity. However, Jerry's campervan has solar, an inverter, and even a generator. There are no water spigots, water will need to be hauled in jugs.
Standard group protocols will apply:
- We will have tent space available for those who don't have tents.
- We will cook group breakfasts and dinners taking turns doing the cooking.
- Costs of lodging are divided by campsite users. The rate is $28/night.
- BYOB as well as snacking supplies.
