Heat Wave Paddle and Patio

As of today, July 30, we are forecast to have 95+ temps Tuesday thru Thursday (August 5 - 7). Come to the lake, it's cooler next to the water, and we can all take a dip to cool off should we choose to. I can take us to a great place to sit and bob and swim.

After the paddle, I will be going to the nearby Horsetooth Tavern for some much needed hydration and appetizers. You are welcome to join me/us. I can recommend their buffalo wings, onion rings, and homemade potato chips.

I will push off from the boat ramp at 10:00. Please arrive early enough to have your craft ready to go. I will be there a half hour early. If you've not met us before wait at the top of the ramp near the beach ball. Anyone I see standing there I will approach.

The boat ramp is just past the first stop sign past the bathrooms. Parking is just past the ramp. There is only one boat ramp. When you see one, you are in the correct location.

The boat ramp uses the marina parking lot. You must have a Larimer County Parks Pass to park there. If you love the outdoors, you should get the annual pass. One can be purchased on your way at the South Bay Visitor Center.
