Putting the I in IT: Ontologies 4 Data Integration & User Interface development

Details
Organizations spend a lot of time and money building IT environments that meet their business needs. While these environments are usually both performant and reliable at recording and storing business facts – experiment results, sales records, inventory changes, etc – they are usually also poor at allowing clients to explore and query the data contained within them to generate valuable information on which business decisions can be made.
OrangeDog is a semantic applications and consulting startup specializing in the use of semantic technologies, notably OWL and RDF, to perform data integration and to create user-centric graphical interfaces. OrangeDog's software allows users to work in an environment where their data is integrated, fully contextualized at all times, expressed in end user terminology, and deeply explorable without the need to program and without the need to ask IT for help
OrangeDog's software can be seamlessly deployed alongside traditional IT infrastructure such as databases, web services, etc – no systems need to be rebuilt or replaced to use OrangeDog's tool suite.
