Join us for an evening of experiencing and tinkering with an innovative tech product.

Tinker Hour showcases the innovative projects of the Boulder tech world. Providing a platform for individuals, groups and/or companies that are beginning a project or fine tuning their tech product for enhanced use.

As a growing community, the participants of this Meetup will experience the presenting company's current process, receive hands on tinkering of the product and provide feedback toward enhancing the product.

Schedule of the evening:

5:30pm until 6pm - Networking & Drinks/Appetizers

6pm-7:00pm-presentations, Q&A and tinkering with product

7pm-7:30 - group sharing/networking

Getting Started with Scratch

New to Scratch? Come and experience this playful introduction to the Scratch programming language. Learn the basic building blocks and core concepts in Scratch while creating an interactive animation. Find out about a range of ways that kids are using Scratch to create their own interactive stories, games, animations, and simulations.

About Shane Clements:

Shane currently leads the development of the Scratch editor and player for the MIT Media Lab. In addition to design and development of Scratch, Shane assists with the website and Scratch-related research . His work before joining the LLK has focused on web development, game development, and leadership roles in software development at organizations that include the LEGO Group, Lijit, and SpotXchange.
