What we're about
Our last startup group, 5280 Singles is a huge success and one of Colorado's largest Meetup groups. This group will be a spin off or extension of 5280 Singles, with the idea singles over 40 or 45 can now attend events occasionally designed for singles from their 40's through their mid sixties. Two thirds of the 5280 Singles membership are under 40 which is wonderful, but sometimes intimidating if you are fifty something or even 60. We will attend many non age-specific events with the original 5280 Singles groups but also offer many age exclusive events then the original group.
We will be offering as many as 20 events each month and encourage our members to purchase a 5280 Singles Membership card, (good through December 2019), to save $5 on each time on many of our events as well as being able to take advantage of discounts and two for one opportunities with restaurants, contractors and local merchants around town. Our members are already enjoying BOGO drinks at over a dozen bars and restaurants, one free 30 minute massage, as well as free advertising for their business on our website once they become a paid member. You can purchase your membership card at many of our events or visit us at http://www.5280singles.org . This also allows us to have a full time planner, host and organizer as well as giving our membership a chance to be part of the organization's success.
We know having fun is the best way to make friends, meet other people and build relationships. We are not a dating group but will occasionally host mixers and other events that could help singles meet other singles. We are targeting people in their 3 40's, 50's, and up to their mid 60's but welcome every age above 21. We would love for you to join us if you would like to attend any of these events:
