We are the Denver Metro areas' premier singles community. We are not a dating group. We encourage all adult individuals who are not legally, or common law married, to join our group. We are an in person, event based group where members have the opportunity to meet more single people in person than many other groups combined. We do appreciate and encourage our members to attend as many events as they can. Over the past 8 years, we have been responsible for igniting thousands of new friendships as well as sparking several romantic relationships. In 2025, we will be recruiting dozens of event hosts, to further expand and grow our group. We want all of our members to be active participants. We know that what each individual puts in, they will receive back in personal rewards such as fun events, new friends and new connections, as well as ways to save money doing things outside of the home. We offer 3 types of participation levels in the form of 3 Meetup groups, that have a sum total population over 20,000 members.
They are:
5280 Singles Hiking and Social Events-free to join, members ages 30s through 50s
5280 Singles Over 40 Front Range Events and Adventures-free to join, members ages 40's through 60's
5280 Singles Over 50 Anytime Events-free to join, members 50's and over.
This is our first spinoff group from the original group. This group focuses on events for singles ages 40's, 50's and 60's. The cost to join is free. There is an opportunity to save lots of money on paid events and products purchased from many companies around town with our 5280 Singles Discount Card. Most of our events are free, but we may offer as many as 4 events per month that may have a small cost to attend because there is food provided, prizes, services or a facility that has to be rented. The cost of the regular 5280 Singles discount card is $30, and the card is good for 12+ months. You can purchase your discount card at our website at www.5280singles.org. Revenue generated from the sale of the cards, guarantees our members will have a certified event planner or that an instructor be at every event. Currently, we are running an online only special. If you purchase the new 5280 Discounts Card by 5/31/25, you will receive a free handyman service coupon worth up to $65. You can also purchase one at one of our indoor events. Our cardholders receive a $5 discount on most of our paid events each month, as well as daily drink specials from restaurants or bars, and discounts off contractors and other merchants around the front range. By purchasing a discount card, you now have an even bigger incentive to be more actively involved, save money and help sustain our membership. We highly recommend purchasing the Platinum Package for $60 which doubles your discounts to our events as well as gives you 5 or more free events each year as well as free gift cards worth over $100 and a free energy audit, ($125 value).

Now that we've covered all the basic benefits of joining this group, let's let everyone know what we won't tolerate from our members. These are the most common reasons people can be removed from our group...
1. Harassing our members, organizers or vendors, (including staff), that we do business with.
2. Spamming other members.
3. RSVP to events 3 or more times in a row, only to cancel or no show.
4. Not attending any events over a calendar year.
5. Bad mouthing our group, our organizers, our members or our events to others.
6. Using our events or group to promote other groups and their events.
7. Totally disregarding instructions to attend event, (Ie. Showing up to an event on your own time frame or requesting free admission to attend a fee based event, etc.).
8. Conducting illegal activities or illegal business within the framework of our group.
9. Not living or visiting Colorado to attend in person events.
