Rethinking Change and Evolution @ Comprehensivist Weds

Details
As we consider our comprehensivity, our interest to broadly and deeply understand our worlds and its peoples, we may wonder: What is the world like? How does it change and evolve?
Two answers to these questions come from the great Greek philosophers Hērákleitos and Parmenídēs who argued, respectively, that all there is is change and that change is impossible.
During this event we will explore the curation of some exhibits about change and evolution drawn from Humanity's great traditions to help us rethink the ideas of change and evolution.
I prepared the following essay, which after some introductory remarks, organizes the exhibits so participants can consider them in advance:

Welcome to the series "Comprehensivist Wednesdays". Transdisciplinarity, Renaissance humanism, homo universalis, and Polymathy are some of the ways of describing this approach which Buckminster Fuller called Comprehensivity and described as “macro-comprehensive and micro-incisive”.
