How to Create That-Which-Is-Not-Yet @ Comprehensivist Wednesdays

Details
To develop our comprehensivity, our interest in broadly and deeply understanding our worlds and its peoples, we actively consider the learning of other traditions and their ideas which may initially seem very strange to us.
This event will continue a previous exploration on change in our lives. We will quickly come to focus on the issue of how we create that-which-is-not-yet.
To help participants engage this alternative way of thinking about the changes in our lives, I prepared the following essay: https://www.cjfearnley.com/CfC/2021/04/how-to-create-that-which-is-not-yet/
Reading the essay will help participants grapple with this unusual way of thinking about how change occurs in our lives.
This idea builds on part of a previous event on "Rethinking Change and Evolution". However, there is nothing from that event that you need to understand to fully participate at this event. If you are interested in those preliminary connections, you can watch the 1h 5m video from the prior event at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vyr7x0hPFOY
Welcome to the series "Comprehensivist Wednesdays". Transdisciplinarity, Renaissance humanism, homo universalis, and Polymathy are some of the ways of describing this approach which Buckminster Fuller called Comprehensivity and described as “macro-comprehensive and micro-incisive”.
