Intellectual Virtues for Comprehensive Practice @ Comprehensivist Wednesdays

Details

This group exploration will examine intellectual virtues to better guide us in developing our comprehensivity, our ability to comprehend our worlds broadly for context and deeply for clarity by taking seriously Buckminster Fuller's aspiration of "wanting to understand all and put everything together".

This event will examine a short 10 minute video on intellectual virtues by Linda Zagzebski.

Welcome to the series "Comprehensivist Wednesdays". Transdisciplinarity, Renaissance humanism, homo universalis, and Polymathy are some of the ways of describing this approach which Buckminster Fuller called Comprehensivity and described as “adequately macro-comprehensive and micro-incisive”.
