Poetry Monday: Featured Poet: Gabriela Mistral; Collaborative Poetry

Hello to all! I'm looking forward to seeing our poets gathered together again! We'll be meeting monthly now for at least the next year.

This week's featured poet will be Gabriela Mistral, the first Latin American woman to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature. For our collaborative poetry, we'll use a line from one of her poems as our focusing theme: "What is a story we never tell?"

Format:

1. Reading of poems of the week's Featured Poet
2. Attendees are invited to share a poem they like (by featured poet, any other poet, or their own poems) and talk for 2 to 4 minutes about the poem.
3. Breakout rooms to work on collaborative Poetic expressions.
