Poetry Mondays: Featured Poet: Yessenia Montilla; Collaborative Poetry w/ phrase

Format:
This month's featured poet will be Yessenia Montilla. For our collaborative poetry session, we'll be using a phrase as our focusing theme. In addition to the phrase, I'm going to provide additional focusing questions for the phrase:

Who is “the one”?
What did they do, or refuse to do?
What changed because of them?
What would you say to them now?

1. Reading of poems of the week's Featured Poet
2. Attendees are invited to share a poem they like (by featured poet, any other poet, or their own poems) and talk for 2 to 4 minutes about the poem.
3. Breakout rooms to work on collaborative Poetic expressions.
