Poetry Mondays: Featured Poet: Marge Piercy; Collaborative Poetry w/ monostitch

This month's featured poet is Marge Piercy. For our collaborative poetry, we'll be exploring a monostitch style poem. The format will be for each participant to create a single-line monostitch, then together we’ll shape them into one shared poem that is edited, arranged, and owned by all of us. The focusing theme for our monostitch lines will be "what I didn't say". Additional details/constraints will be provided at our event.

Format:

1. Reading of poems of the week's Featured Poet
2. Attendees are invited to share a poem they like (by featured poet, any other poet, or their own poems) and talk for 2 to 4 minutes about the poem.
3. Breakout rooms to work on collaborative Poetic expressions.
