July 11th Repl.it IRL

We'll start the meetup with some pizza and socializing and then Faris Masad (Engineer @ Repl.it) will give a talk about Repl.it recent feature launch and the technology he used as well as how languages servers help make programming more accessible.

After the update and demos by Faris, we'll start show and tell where people can present a cool project of theirs (if you're interested in speaking, fill this out https://replit-irl.typeform.com/to/cVgvZ5)

After show+tell, we'll then do our mini hackathon where the prompt will be announced at the meetup!

Faris will be discussing how language and tool developers for years have been re-inventing the wheel and, with the Language Server Protocol, we finally have a standard for language tooling. In this talk he will go over the protocol and how Repl.it uses it to create a great developer experience.
