About Our Panelists:
Saif Farooqui
Saif is the founder and CEO of Corgi Labs, AI to help companies make more revenue from payments by increasing approvals and blocking fraud. He combined his background in machine learning for small sample sizes developed at Facebook and Google, with payments domain expertise from Stripe, to build the first version of Corgi in late 2022, which led to investment from Y Combinator. Under his leadership the company has experienced phenomenal growth, including partnerships with the some of the largest payment providers globally, while also spearheading the development of innovative engineering solutions.
Gao Bo
Bo is the Founder and Managing Director of AI Club Asia, an AI-dedicated ecosystem engaging different stakeholders in AI and focusing on leading-edge AI applications & deployment solutions across different industries to facilitate AI innovations and implementation across borders between Europe & Asia. She has worked in different leading roles in MNCs such as Alcatel-Lucent, L‘Oréal, Procter & Gamble, and LVMH Group in Europe and the Asia Pacific. She has led different projects in EMEA and APAC regions, including but not limited to digital transformation & change management globally and regionally.
EnJun Choong
EnJun's journey reflects versatility and a passion for innovation. Transitioning from an oil and gas engineer to the world of Data & AI, he exemplifies the importance of continuous learning and growth. Through roles in startups and enterprises, EnJun tackled diverse challenges in different domains, showing a knack for adaptation and success. Rising to leadership, he led MLOps projects and advocated for pragmatic solutions. Today, as a Data & AI Lead Solution Architect, EnJun continues to push the boundaries of innovation, driving impactful solutions and inspiring others to navigate the ever-changing tech landscape.
Dr Joel Yang
Joel has more than 10 years of experience in the education sphere designing, managing, and delivering curriculum to students in Higher Education. He oversees the School of InfoComm Technology at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Primarily teaching programming-related modules, he has introduced innovative strategies to teach, assess, and provide instantaneous feedback on programming codes to students through technology. Apart from the technical domain, Joel also trains data practitioners to unlock data's power via persuasive storytelling techniques to help generate actionable insights for decision-makers. Prior to joining Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Joel was a lecturer at School of Computing at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he received his B.S. (1st Class Honors) and obtained his Ph.D. in Information Systems.
