JOIN US …as we work our way through: The Artist’s Way sessions together! What you will need: A copy of “The Artist’s Way - A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity” A 12+ week meetup to Unlock Your Creative Potential • with “The Artist’s Way” - by Julia Cameron The plan is to meet weekly, for a total of 13 weeks. This is (somewhat) flexible and will continue to be as time goes on. Although the most benefit will be gained by attending every week, if it works out better for any of you to attend every other week, we can try to work that out for you. Group will be held every week, for 13 weeks. If at the end of the 12 chapters (13 weeks), we decide as a group that we’d like to continue on for however long, for whatever reason, that’s also an option. Week #1 ~ We’ll simply be getting to know each other a bit, and spend some time discussing Julia Cameron’s book/program, ‘The Artist’s Way’. We’ll also talk more in depth about what you can expect from the group itself, what will be expected from you the participant as we work our way through ‘The Artist’s Way’s 12 week program, as well as any ideas you may have to make our sessions even better. By the time we meet for our second session, please have a copy of Julia Cameron’s “The Artist’s Way” (it does not need to be the most recent edition, so purchasing a used copy of the book will be just fine.) and have already read at least the Forward, the Introduction(s), and “Spiritual Electricity” sections that begin the book itself. We will then begin the first section/Week #1 of her book together during our second week, (which we will ultimately call “Week One”, so that it coincides with the book’s chapters) when we will begin to dig a little deeper in to the work we are all doing. Weeks #2 - #12 ~ Each week after first one, we will discuss the previous week’s chapter, and as a group we will share thoughts and ideas about what we have read and learned. All will be expected to participate, of course, but no one will ever be expected to share anything you deem to be too personal. Every member should always feel free to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Above all else, this is to be a safe place for everyone and respecting fellow group members is a must.
