Pacific Sunset Cruise!

UPDATE ON PARKING FOR THE COAST RIDE!

I was there on Wednesday and there wasn't as much parking as last year, and Saturday won't be better. So you may have to park a block or two away, but we'll still rendezvous on Tremont just south of Neptune. It is a nice neighborhood.

If you are using a navigator, you can punch in 713 N Tremont in Oceanside. Keep in mind this is a private residence I just randomly happened to park in front of, but it will get you there.

Let's escape the heat and do a beautiful coastal ride!

Starting in beautiful Oceanside! The easiest parking I have found to be on Tremont Street just south of Neptune. If you are taking the 76, take the first left after the highway ends then the first right is Neptune.

From there we can ride the coast down to Encinitas, maybe have a bite their if attendees would like, then head back. OR....

Ride down to Palomar Airport Road, go inland to El Camino Real, then north to Cannon and see the beautiful sunset over the lagoon. But this is a much more challenging route. Palomar Airport has a mild but long uphill grade, and Cannon road is a fairly steep uphill, but the views are worth it.

We'll just do whatever the attendees would like to do. You can post a preference here, or we can figure it out on the ride.

The ride should be around 20-28 miles depending on the route we decide to take.
