Dragon's Tail and Cherohala Skyway Overnite Ride

UPDATE!!!! The meetup is now Friday night, 6:15pm, KSU 6:30p, for the ride over to Sweetwater.
SATURDAY: Dragon/Cherohala, Meetup is Econolodge West, Sweetwater, TN. Meetup at 8 am, KSU, 8:30 am.

The above route will take us down the Dragon, over the Moonshiner 28 and eventually across the Cherohala Skyway, to Tellico Plains to the Tellico Plains Rally, Saturday afternoon/evening. This leaves us only 30 minutes to our Hotel.
Experienced riders only. Please use your discretion. This is a very tough ride with many, many sharp curves. Don't put the group at risk if you aren't sure you are comfortable enough with this ride. Be sure to practice a lot of sweeping curves prior to this ride. Specifically, be aware of where your eyes are focused while going around corners. Keep your eyes up and focused on where you are going ahead of you. Many people get into trouble by looking downward onto the road directly in front of them.
