Tai Chi Gung - Training of the 18 Immortal Masters
Details
Join us for 1 or all 3 weeks in a row. Beginners are welcome for every class.
Experience a 3000 year unbroken lineage of Tai Chi Gung, all the way back to Boganathar, one of 18 Immortal Siddhi Yoga Masters, and founder of Tai Chi Gung among the forests of China.
Few realize that Boganathar was given the name Lao Tzu by the Emperor who he came to serve while he lived there in seclusion. After the emperor passed away, Lao Tzu/Boganathar travelled to Tibet where he opened the first school of Tai Chi Gung after 50 years of meditation.
Master Paul is the only certified Tai Chi Gung Master of Lao Tzu/Boganathar's order living in the United States. He is the national director of teacher training for his mentor, Master Lama Rasaji.
We share simple standing exercises anyone can do. They connect you with the forces of Nature and show you how to deepen your respect for your own body's ability to regenerate, when given an opportunity to do so. The system is based in Hatha, Pranayama and Kundalini Yoga. Master Paul has been training for 35 years.
Comfortable street clothes are fine. We'll meet at the corner of S. Giplin St. and E. Louisiana Ave at the south end of Wash Park, then find a shade tree together.
