SceneKit and ARKit in photography planning apps

Stephen Trainor of Crookneck Consulting LLC will talk about his experiences using SceneKit and ARKit in three different apps. The talk will cover some tips, tricks, and lessons learned from implementing sun, moon and milky way visualizations which rely on accurate alignment with​o the real world. Additionally, we'll cover an overview of generating 3D terrain from digital elevation model datasets and implementing a gesture-based UI.
