WOAH. We're at the last chapter of the book! What comes next?! But first:
We'll be discussing this chapter: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2k2oymuz7yqSm1menRFZDlnOWM/edit
Discussion begins at 7pm, with some drinks and snacks. We start in small groups (usually 3 to 6 people), collect notes and then join into one larger group.
Please read the chapter in advance. It's best to mark the parts your find interesting and take notes of your thoughts and questions. As you read, try to think about:
-
What are the facts and arguments made by the author?
-
What was your reaction to those arguments?
-
What are the broader questions that arise from these reactions?

☀ WHAT COMES AFTER THIS BOOK? ☀
We're trying something new! Let's harness the community we've gathered and the conversations we have, which are both broad and deep. But not only around one book.
Starting from the next meeting, we'll start a rotation where we read one chapter of a different book each time. Any participant who's been to some of our meetings before can suggest a book. But you only get a slot once every, say, 5 meetings. So choose wisely! Let's not talk about "that interesting article I read on the weekend". It should be incredibly awesome, every single time. We'd probably also devise some guidelines as to which books work better than others (maybe only "conversations on humankind"?). I tentatively have the first discussion set up -- more details to be announced.
