HGTV, America’s leader in home and lifestyle programming, is distributed to more than 99 million U.S. households and is one of cable’s top-rated networks. HGTV’s website, HGTV.com, is the nation’s leading online home-and-garden destination and attracts an average of 5 million unique visitors per month. The HGTV Green Home Giveaway website complements the network’s annual HGTV Dream Home Giveaway, one of the most successful consumer promotions in cable TV history.
The 2011 HGTV Green Home, which features construction and design elements that contribute to an energy efficient, cleaner and healthier living environment, is part of a nationwide marketing promotion utilizing outreach vehicles such as sponsor participation, community partnerships, television broadcasts and commercial print – all centered around a grand prize package where the HGTV Green Home will be given to one lucky viewer in August.
Nicole DeSonier, vice president of network ad sales for Scripps Networks, will introduce luncheon attendees to a detailed look at the creation of this “tent pole” event featured on the HGTV channel, including the marketing campaign that brings the HGTV Green Home Giveaway promotions to life.
Plus, attendees will discover how HGTV prepares and plans for the HGTV Green Home Giveaway – including unique features that apply to the HGTV Green Home 2011 located at Stapleton here in Denver, CO.
