The world of online payments has exploded and changed over the last five years. There are many players but the steps to accepting payments and who does what can still be confusing. There are many new and established players in the space and a lot to think about when looking to accept payments for your site.

Answer all of your questions about what to look for as you decide which payments provider is best for you Debunk payment myths Share insights on payments in mobile experiences - (with Ryan McKillen, Uber's lead engineer) The speakers will give an overview of the industry and various payments solutions for different business types and stages of growth. Followed by a Q&A with Uber's lead engineer, Ryan McKillen, about how they tackled the challenges of creating such a groundbreaking mobile app.

Speakers:

Charity Kittler directs training at Braintree. Braintree helps businesses accept credit card payments online with world class support and great development tools. There she creates and teaches Braintree University classes, which streamline onboarding for new hires. In her free time she likes to hang out with cameras and books.

Jenna Wyer graduated from the University of Illinois with Honors in Media Communications. She has held a variety of positions in Sales and Operations, including Project Executive for Point of Sale installations for large retailers including Limited Brands, Jo-Ann Stores and J. Crew. Jenna is also part of the founding team of Braintree, an online and mobile payments company funded by Accel Partners. She has dedicated the past four years to consulting and advising on payments for fast growth companies including Google, Uber, Rovio (Angry Birds), LivingSocial, SitterCity, AirBnb, Hotel Tonight, Animoto and TripAdvisor. Currently she is the VP of Sales for Braintree and resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Juan Benitez is a senior technology leader experienced in motivating outstanding engineering and product teams to make industry-wide impact. Juan is now the Chief Technology Officer and SVP of Products at Braintree, where he leads engineering and product teams. Prior to Braintree, Juan held the position of VP of Search Advertising at Yahoo! and led engineering for many of Yahoo!'s advertising platforms. Juan graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with both a BS and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering and resides in California.
