Resume Workshop for the New Reality

Details

How long has it been since you needed a resume? If it’s more than a year or two, the world of resumes has changed dramatically. Recruiters tell us that they spend between four and six seconds on a resume to determine if they will read on. That is, if the resume even makes it past the resume robot (aka Applicant Tracking Systems or Automated Resume Screeners).

Let us help you understand what’s needed to make it past the bot and make the most of those few seconds in front of a live human. We will also discuss how to effectively use LinkedIn to finish telling your story.

Where do we start? At SFPCN this Tuesday.

The workshop will be led by Howard Mullinack

Howard is the executive director of SFPCN. His passion is helping individuals and organizations advance in their goals.

Howard’s a lifelong sales, marketing and branding professional. For more than 30 years, he worked in the broadcast equipment industry in positions ranging from VP of sales and product to CEO, developing, selling and marketing hardware and software used by television and radio networks and stations.

He currently runs wefixyourmac.com (http://wefixyourmac.com/), providing Macintosh consulting, upgrades, and data recovery for professionals, businesses and individuals. He volunteers his time on the week long AIDS/LifeCycle fund raising ride and leading SFPCN.
