About us

757 Black Spine Book Club
Real Conversations | Real Community | No Pressure

This isn't your typical book club.

757 Black Spine is a space for connection, conversation, and community centered around books by authors of the African diaspora - but more importantly, it's about how those stories connect to our real lives.

  • You do NOT have to finish the book to join
  • You can come just to listen, vibe, or share
  • No pressure. No judgment. Just real conversation.

Whether you read 2 pages or the whole book, you belong here.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
We meet every 3rd Saturday on Zoom for:

  • A quick recap of the book (so everyone can join)
  • Real, honest discussion - not just "what happened in the book"
  • Space to connect, share perspectives, and build community

Sometimes we go deeper.
Sometimes we just vibe. Either way - you'll leave feeling connected.

WHO IS THIS FOR:

  • People of the African diaspora looking for community
  • People who love books OR want to get back into reading
  • Anyone craving deeper, meaningful conversations

Allies are welcome - this space is intentionally centered on Black voices.

MOST IMPORTANTLY:
Even if you haven't read the book, come anyway.

RSVP and pull up. Your voice matters here.
