About us
757 Computer Vision & Autonomy is a monthly gathering for engineers, builders, and the technically curious to explore AI for the physical world — the stack that lets machines perceive, decide, and act in the messy, continuous reality we actually live in.
Most of the AI conversation today is about chatbots. We're interested in what happens when those same techniques start driving cars, flying drones, folding laundry, running warehouses, and operating factories. It's the next big shift, and the tools to participate — CARLA, Isaac Sim, ROS 2, open-source perception stacks, vision foundation models — are finally good enough that you don't need a research lab to build something real.
Each month we run a short, accessible talk paired with a live demo and time to get hands-on. No prior experience required — just show up curious. Whether you're a working ML engineer, a roboticist, a CS student, or someone who reads about self-driving cars and wants to see one actually work, you'll find people here who want to build the same future.
What to expect every meetup:
- A 20-minute talk on a specific piece of the autonomy stack
- A live demo you can watch and pick apart
- Hands-on time + Q&A to actually try things
- A friendly, collaborative room — questions encouraged
Come for the demo, stay for the people building this stuff alongside you.
