Making Cards For Hospitalized Kids --- At TCC JOINT-USE LIBRARY!

Hello, Uplifters! 👋🏿 --- This event is NOT at Indian River Library, but a new location, TCC's joint-use library in Virginia Beach! Apologies for the shorter than normal notice, but the joint-use library only allows seven days advance notice. There is a lot of availability though, so it is great for when I am having a hard time getting reservations elsewhere. That said, max seating is for 8, instead of 12. Also, the library opens at 9AM, so the event will start at 10AM, giving me time to set up my signboard 🙂 --- We will be on the first floor, in Room L-117, which is towards the back, on the right side of the building, as you enter the front of the building and walk past the receptionist desk.

Outside of the rules on the website, this meetup is at a library where we can talk, but not be too loud, so please keep that in mind. I'll bring a large batch of supplies I have (I HAVE TONS, thanks to very kind donations 😊), like markers, construction paper, a few rulers, stickers, etc. --- Any supplies you want to bring would be awesome --- things like old magazines (to cut out photos) and stickers are always great, as are glue sticks and pens and pencils! :)

You may make wholesome cards about nearly anything you would like! I will be making cards centered around the holiday season (you do not have to)! Just be sure to check out the rules about glitter and wording (in particular, please avoid "Get well soon", but you can say kids are great, strong, etc.). Thanks for reading! 📚 😀
