Swap & Sew: Clothing Swap & DIY No-Knit Freeeform Lace Scarf Workshop

Let's get together to stitch and bitch while we swap clothes and ideas. This month's brisk autumn theme will be "YARN."

We'll show you a SPECIAL yarn upcycling DIY project: No-Knit "Freeform Lace" Scarves. Using yarn remants (and ribbon and scraps), water soluble stabilizer and a sewing machine, we'll show you how to make a really cool fiber scarf without any knitting or crocheting! WE'LL SUPPLY: Sewing machines, yarn and all the tools you need - or bring your own. We'll have the special water soluble stabilizer on hand for just a few dollars.

BRING: Clothes to swap, yarn, ribbon and/or fabric scraps for the DIY project, and a friend :)

Food and beverage are always encouraged so if you can, bring a finger food to share. I'll have an ice cold water cooler on hand.
