DIYBio Meetup @ Nova Labs (Reston, VA)

Come share ideas and help brainstorm plans for DIY biology and biotechnology projects and classes. Bring your ideas, curiosity, and/or tech know-how. This meetup will be an excellent synergy between tech and biology if we get a great mix of people from both worlds to collaborate. Let's get a list of both classes and projects to work on over the next few months

We'd like to start off by MAKING equipment, so things like the FoldScope, 3D printed pipettes, and maybe some items from here http://www.gaudi.ch/GaudiLabs/?page_id=328. We'd also like to invite the BUGSS folks down from Baltimore who are working on bioprinting (http://www.bugssonline.org/3-dbiological-printing.html) for an introductory class. But the first step is to gather folks like YOU involved and exited and curious about bio-making. Let's get started, get a list o ideas and prioritize.
