CREATE PIPELINE: Real-Time Streaming and Exactly-Once Semantics with Kafka

Get ready to build your own real-time streaming pipeline in this hands-on meetup! MemSQL recently launched version 5.5, including brand new MemSQL Pipelines. At the crux of Pipelines is CREATE PIPELINE, a new SQL command similar to a CREATE TABLE. MemSQL Architect Carl Sverre and MemSQL Engineer John Bowler will walk attendees through the technical details of Pipelines - how we built it, how we ensure exactly-once semantics, and why it matters. He will also showcase several real-time applications built with MemSQL Pipelines.

MemSQL will provide AWS instances so attendees can spin up their own clusters and try Pipelines with help directly from the engineers who built it.

Please bring laptops for the hands-on session.
