Synthesizers 101 and Atari Punk Kit Building

Jon Philpott (aka Fezmaster, Utah based puredata and Linux based synth builder) and Ed Brock (Utah based DIY modular synthesis master) will be providing an introduction to modular and analog synthesis techniques covering both practical software and hardware along with high level explanations of audio synthesis techniques.

We will have Atari Punk Kits for sale at the event to build and learn! To reserve your kit, PayPal or email board@801labs.org a $25 donation with the note "Atari Kit Reservation". There are only 30 kits available, so reserve yours ASAP :)

Doors open at 6pm.

Every Thursday night, the local DEF CON group DC801 hangs out at the 801Labs hackerspace for people to come work on projects, help others with projects, and get to know some of the others in the area. These events are open to the public.

If you are new and do not see a lot of RSVPs, be aware that most people that show up do not RSVP. There will be people nearly every Thursday.
