Let's Drive this # up

Given the enthusiasm that our Town Hall Watch Party attracted, both in the number of people who showed up and others who messaged me wanting more events, wanting to get involved, there is a clear demand for getting active. As such, the purpose of this event is 2 fold:

1. Deep dive and planning on guerrilla organizing for Jill & Local Greens, Progressives. We will split our efforts towards the National Race, but also to help people all over the Bay get elected, even those that may not be in our home area. You can help in your area and others; synergy!

We will discuss available resources, take a census of the skill sets of folks in our groups & organize, commit to various actions-from phone banking, to leaflets, social media, etc.

2. Create and Implement a Sanders Supporters Outreach plan. We need to ensure that Sanders Supporters understand that they have a choice, they don't need to give up on their ideals, ideas or energy...as Jill said, they are a great group to communicate to.

3. Have Fun! Get to know another! Part of building a Progressive Platform should be also to mingle, make friends. Let's keep that going. Its also a great way for you to bring some friends along & make it a fun event. We hope to have this next event in the East Bay, by BART, Bus, etc. So if you're in SF, please still come, as we try to even out the locations of these events, across the Bay.
