Writing Effective PHP @ Infuse

This month we have a special guest speaker visiting us from France: Nuno Maduro. Nuno has spoken at conferences such as ForumPHP in Paris, Laracon EU, and Laravel Live India, and he regularly contributes to the Laravel core and many Laravel packages. Nuno will speak to us on the topic of Writing Effective PHP. Please join us at the Infuse office at 580 Market St, right outside of the Mongtomery Bart/Muni station.

"Writing Effective PHP" with Nuno Maduro

• Nuno will help you make effective use of modern PHP, covering topics such as: preventing bugs using defensive programming, designing and creating objects, when and how to use immutability, writing the public API of a class, composition over inheritance, and writing high-quality tests.
