First Friday Open Mic at the Hopewell United Methodist Church

The Hopewell Open Mic Night is held the First Friday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 to sign up, we start at 7pm and go to 10pm and depending on interest follow with an awesome all inclusive jam! We encourage collaboration amongst the musicians. Bring your favorite song for the jam, be prepared to be awed by the awesome talent!!!

Format: Sign up for 15 minute blocks (usually enough for 2 to 3 songs) and you may also invite others to join you! We usually have an open Jam at the end of the evening

Equipment: There is a PA & Mic's, Grand Piano, Organ, and a Drum Kit.

Venue: The program is held in the chapel and the acoustics are outstanding!

Refreshments: Bottled water, coffee, tea, cookies and snacks provide.

When: The first Friday of every month from 7pm to 10pm +, sign up begins at 6:30

The event is free and open to the public. You do not need to be affiliated with any church to participate as a performer or audience member.

Beginners and advanced musicians are welcome as well as anyone who just wants to listen and support your friends!
