The Case For The Resurrection of Jesus

In our last meet-up group, we discussed and debated a few of the many arguments for the existence of God. These arguments provide scientific, philosophical, and rational evidence for the existence of God, but leave us with an important question- What kind of God?

Moving from theism to Christianity, this meet-up will focus on the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, the central tenant of Christian theology and a powerful argument for the veracity of the Judeo-Christian God.

Our Agenda will also include an objection to the existence of God not heard in our last meet-up- The problem of Evil.

Be prepared to discuss the following topics with us!

• The problem of evil and its relationship to the moral argument for God

• The historical Jesus

• The minimal-facts argument for the resurrection

• The nature of Miracles
