Hello Rasa enthusiasts,
We are super excited to announce the very first Rasa User Group Meetup in SF! This meetup is going to be a great place for you to hear about Rasa (from what it is to what's on the roadmap), see the projects Rasa users are working on and last but not least - meet the fellow Rasa community members in person!
We are going to have a few great talks about Rasa and plenty of time for discussions and networking.
Agenda:
7:00pm Welcome to the Rasa User Group SF meetup!
7:05 - 7:20 Going beyond FAQ assistants, by Alexander Weidauer, co-founder and CEO at Rasa
Alex will start the meetup talking about where chatbots field currently is and how developers should think about conversational AI and techniques used to build it to go beyond simple FAQ assistants.
7:20pm - 7:40pm The most recent Rasa updates and integrations by Justina Petraityte, developer advocate at Rasa
Justina will give you an overview of the most recent additions to the Rasa Stack, including the brand new integration between Rasa and Botsociety which bridges the gap between bot designers and developers.
7:40 - 8:10 Building Distributed Voice Bots with Rasa, Twilio, and Kubernetes, by Josh Converse the principal at Dynamic Offset
Discussion on deploying a Rasa-backed voice bot in a distributed container environment (Kubernetes) in concert with Twilio. Explores how architecture and plumbing work together to provide a fluid, real-time voice interaction. Josh Converse is the principal at Dynamic Offset, a boutique consulting firm specializing in building great customer experiences through mobile, web, and conversational interfaces.
