There’s a particular kind of ache that comes with doing work you care deeply about—but feeling like you're doing it all wrong.
It’s the pressure to keep posting, promoting, producing—when your soul is quietly begging for silence because you are forgetting to breathe.
It’s that clench in the chest when you're scrolling past someone else’s six-figure launch. Arghhh!
It’s the shame-laced fog of Why can’t I just do the damn thing already?
I call this entrepreneurial angst.
I know it well…I’ve been an entrepreneur for over 15 years. I’m the queen of entrepreneurial angst, truth be told. I’ve lived with it, resisted it, cursed it and yes, I’ve finally admitted and accepted it in myself. I go to sleep with it and wake up with it, but now I’m even beginning to befriend it a little. It’s an excellent teacher…
And while this angst may seem like something to fix, override, or hustle through, I want to offer another view:

> Entrepreneurial angst is not a sign you’re failing—it’s a sign you’re feeling.
> And that’s sacred.

## Your Soul is Not on Deadline

The soul doesn’t respond to pressure like the ego does.
It thrives in rhythm.
In respect.
In rest.
Entrepreneurial angst is often your soul whispering:
“There’s another way. You don’t have to suffer to serve.”
